What is a Service Order?
Service Order is a term used for the collection of Heaven's Mail eCards
you create and the Online Memorial you setup. When your Service Order
is executed, we mean your eCards are scheduled for delivery and your Online Memorial
is made available to selected recipients.

How can I be sure that my Service Order will be executed after my passing?
This is by far the most frequently asked question. Fortunately, we've provided
a means by which you can test our basic email service.
Click here to set up a
trial service order and send your cards to yourself on an accelerated basis.
This will assure you that we have the means to execute the services you've ordered.
Then, after you’ve made payment, you need only edit the recipient email addresses
in order to not lose any of your time preparing your Service Order!

What if my recipients move or change email addresses?
We encourage you to keep us posted as to any changes in the coordinates of your
loved one until the latest possible date. We will then execute your service
order, sending an introductory email requiring that the recipient respond in
order to benefit from your service order. If they do not, we will send them
a letter sent by ordinary post informing them of our services, giving them a
user name and password and asking them to sign up and update their contact
information.

What if I become unable to access my account, due to permanent incapacitation, and an
unable to cancel the initiation of my Service Order?
If you're concerned about this, we recommend you nominate an executor. This
person will be copied on the emails we send and either you or they can defer
execution of the Service Order.

When someone moves, will they lose touch with Heaven’s Mail Server?
True, people move and change e-mail addresses so keeping contact emails updated
is a challenge. However, we send out reminder emails asking the recipients of
your mail to be sure to keep their contact details up to date. We also provide
more standard memorials which appeal to all ages, all the more reason to keep
their emails up to date. Also, our domain name is easy to remember and so,
they’re more likely to be able to find us again if they wish.

What if my recipient doesn’t want to receive my mail?
For a variety of reasons, it may well be that your recipient will not be ready
to receive your mail. One reason is that people may not want to be reminded of
the deceased person because there had been a falling out between them that was
not resolved before the person died. More often, however, it’s because younger
persons do not like to be reminded of their own mortality. It’s also generally
true that as people get older, they tend to resist suggestions and comments made
by parents, even if made for their own good. Also, if your messages are repetitive,
they may indeed grow tired of your reminders.
We suggest you be creative, avoid
repetition, and focus primarily on expressing your love and hope, positive
things that will more likely be warmly received. In any case, we allow the recipient
to postpone receipt of your messages until they’re ready to receive them, or
if not, to cancel delivery of your messages to them altogether (your messages
will continue to be sent out to your other recipients, however). It is up to
you, while you’re alive, to explain to your loved ones what you will be doing
and why. If you take the time to do this, they’ll be more prepared, more likely
to read your mail, and more likely to keep their contact details up to date.

Isn’t it best to communicate with your loved ones when they’re alive?
Finally, you may want to communicate with descendants you've not met yet-an
unborn grandchild or simply those grandchildren or great grandchildren not
yet a twinkle in their fathers' eyes. Why? Because you believe in hope and
love-you believe in an enduring message such as the Gospel Message, and wish
to have a part in the building of hope that we all need to live abundant
lives. This is particularly true if you believe your children or
grandchildren are not or may not be surrounded by others who can continue
this work once you pass away. This thought is not at all revolutionary.
Isn't this what we do when we read the Gospels? Many of us read the messages
written by great Christians of the past, inspired by God himself, and
believe that these men had us in mind when they wrote their words, compiled
today in what we call the Bible. Of course, you may have completely
non-religious reasons to keep in touch. Heaven's Mail is yours to use as you
see fit, always keeping in mind our desire to share our genuine love and
concern for those we might leave behind. Heaven's Mail is a powerful tool,
and so, must be used wisely!
