Elvis earned 14 Grammy nominations from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS).
Two of his three wins were for recordings of the great gospel song, “How Great Thou Artâ€, and the third for another gospel album, “He Touched Meâ€. At only age 36, he earned a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Songs of his like Hound Dog, Heartbreak Hotel, That's All Right, Suspicious Minds and Don't Be Cruel were all the subject of Hall of Fame recognition.
