Hi-
I'm Barbara, Monte's sister.
So often when we hear of someone close passing we are flooded with memories.
Such was the case with me.
Monte was 14 years older than I but he never let that age difference affect his making time for me.
When he was in high school he worked at a large amusement park (Old Coney) and would always bring home some little trinket & leave it on my table while I was asleep.
Another good memory was him setting up his Lionel train on the floor. He would turn off the lights so we could see the headlamp as it went around and around on the tracks.
Several years later he took me to a Reds baseball game. I didn't understand the game at the time but it was so good being with my big brother.... He would be very pleased to know that I brought a Reds umbrella with me.

Through our sadness & tears we have to remember what Jesus told his disciples -"I go to prepare a place for you, if it were not so I would not tell you." (John 14)
