devoted husband to Daisy L. Thompson (58 years). Beloved father of Glenda Johnson, Vergal Thompson, Lora Wright
(George), Kenneth Thompson (Gwen), Sarah Thompson and MarTina Parker
(Shawn); 9 grandchildren, 5
great-grandchildren, brothers Willie and Lewis and one sister Lucille. He was predeceased by his son James, his
brothers Roscoe, Earnest, and Roger, Jr. and his sisters Pauline, Christine and
Minnie Bell.
Bishop Thompson will lie in
state at Faith Temple No. 2, 211
Maryland Park Drive, Capital Heights,
MD on Friday, March 7, 2008 at
9 a.m. until funeral services at 10:30 am. Interment Fort
Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Taylor Funeral
Services, Washington, DC.
