I come here everyday because I miss my son, Cayden, so very much. It seems like it was too soon for him to leave all of us. While I know it was too soon for all of us, I know that God had a plan for him that meant we would only have him for a short period of time. Cayden was a great athlete that excelled at everything that he attempted. I am thankful that our last words to each other were, I love you! A tight hug and kiss was the final thing that we did together. I am so glad that he knew that I loved him with all of my heart. I am lucky to have known how much he loved me...some people don't get that as a final opportunity. I lost my son to a terrible tragic 'game'. It is called the choking game. I have no idea where he learned about this or why he would have been interested in trying it. It consists of choking yourself until you pass out and then when you come to, you experience a rush. I want to share this information with other parents because all kids should be taught about this, just in case. We teach our kids about other harmful "highs" that come from drugs and I feel that parents should talk to their kids about this also. We never, ever know what dangers may hurt our kids and we should protect them from everything we can. I do not want my child's death to be in vain. I believe God wanted to experience all of Cayden's happiness, his outgoing personality and also educate others in order to prevent another tragedy. sweetheart I think of you everyday. I miss you so very much. I klnwo you watch over us often & I pray that we make you proud.
Chase is at a difficult time in his life right now. Although he has a year of school left, we are still having to make the right decisions. Does he stay close or does he go to a campus. We are stuck at a crossroads. I want him to have every experience possible, even if it is campus living, but then he also doesn't want to leave home.

Good Afternoon Sweetie!
I cannot believe that June is almost coming to a close already! It seems as though school just let out. I haven't been on the computer too much, except through my phone and it doesn't want to work on here too well.
I had made a deal with the kids that the computer and the video games were going to be limited this summer. It is a minus for not being on here every day as I am during the school year, but I must keep my end of the bargain, or else.

Oh sweetie! The ground is covered in snow and the kids have been making snow angels all night and they have been working hard on shoveling the drive way and side walks. I went and got them from school early since there are so many people who can't drive in the snow here in the great state of Ohio! hahaWe got the good news today and cannot wait until the 19th!
