I'm a work friend of Charles. I was one of his work "moms". I remember when I first met Charles as a very young man (boy)trying to get into Chicago Center. He called me weekly to find out if there were any openings. Charles gave me every phone number he could possibly think of to make sure that when an opening became available, he would get it. And HE DID! He would park his car out front of my office because he knew how much I liked it. I really miss looking out of my window and seeing Charles walking. He always, but always made me smile. He will always live in my heart.

Brother Charles and I worshiped together in the same Jurisdiction, and district and we served as musicians. He was my brother/friend. Down to earth, friendly, Honest, and funny (one of my favorite traits).

I was Charles' first cousin, but he considered me as one of his sisters. He was indeed the brother I never had. I will always have a special place in my heart for him. I miss him, but I know that he's having a shouting good time in heaven. Cut a step for me:)

46 yr old SGT in US Army, meet him upon his arrival in Belleville, Il, took him around to finish busy , he didn't know anyone and noone knew him. we hit it off because he wasn't the stuck-up CPT. He rode around with me everywhere we needed to go that day, once at Ft McCoy, he became like my little brother out of uniform. I miss him greatly. But often, I thank God for letting me touch, speak to, and having been in the presence of an Angel. We had our ups and downs. but what friendship is always a bed of roses or crystal stairs. When it was all said and done I loved him.
I am the mother of 3 Toni-32, Lyn 29, Dayne 8, the grand mother of 5 Dominique 16, Natalya 11, Natashia 10, Aubrian 8, Aaliyah 4. I am still on Medical Hold, from injuries obtained durning our tour in Iraq. Every morning I read Psalms 91 & 23. I'm tired of the pain and discomfort and the not knowing what happens with my military career. So, I give it as all things to God. I miss Boi, because he was always the one I ran to for spiritual strength. It was never to early or late to pray. God wants you to come to him on your own , yes and I did and do now, but you gotta know it was great having a prayer partner. If only when I grow up that someone somewhere will think of me as I think of Boi. He was so goffy at times, then he was full of concern, he was funny with dry silly humor, but my friend.
