There is no question that Aunt Chris was my favourite aunt. I remember as a small child she was always buying me treats. When I was born it was her property where we first went to live in the bungalow and of course how vividly I remember her visits to my home as a young child.
Chrissie was such an energetic person - almost hyperactive - and even in her seventies would happily make several trips to the shopping centre each day. She loved attending the auction rooms in Oakleigh and was well known by all the auctioneers as she searched for a bargain.
Never could I forget those games of cards and dominos with Chrissie and grandma as a young boy. I have nothing but great memories of a kind and generous aunt.
