Survived By: Survived by a 33 of grandchild and 24 great-grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by Mother, Father, Sister, Eldest Son, Clarence Jr., brother, one grandchild, and one great grandchild.
This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved father and Pastor Clarence Tinsley Sr. who was born in Pontiac Illinois on 4th September 1940 and passed away on 9th August 2010, 69 years of age.
Pastor Tinsley passed away peacefully in his home surrounded and supported by family during the last days of his life. He was born in Pontiac, Illinois, and spent a majority of his life with his wife and children in Peoria, Illinois, Oakland, California and his final home and resting place St. Paul, Minnesota.
Pastor Tinsley accepted the call to preach in 1978 and enjoyed 40 years serving in ministry. His profession also includes serving as a chef in the United States Army, a skilled tailor and host of many other skills. His favorite past time included studying the word of God and fishing. From 1994-1997 he served as Grand Master of the State of California, Masonic Order, after serving in appointed leadership positions which included Lodge Chaplain.

I did not know Pastor Clarence Tinsley Sr. personally but i do know how it feels to lose a loved one in death...please accept my deepest condolences. In your spare time please read Revelation 21:3-5..it has gotten me through some very rough times..May God Bless. Sincerely-
