A year today. How quickly the river of life runs! Our time together was so short--53 years, but eternity with Him and loved ones is the ultimate blessing. Keep our mansion ready, and I'll see you in the morning.

Well, it's been a whole year since you left us, Dad. I miss you every day, but I know you're in Paradise, singing a joyous song unto the Lord. You are always in my thoughts and ever in my heart. I love you!

It's been 6 months today since you left us. I saw a man in Lowes wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, he looked just like you! Made my heart hurt. I really miss you, Dad.

Well Dad, everyone was there on Sunday to join you for your final fishing trip--a whole gaggle of Stanton's and their assorted families! Johanna sang 'Amazing Grace' like an angel for you (the rest of us just made noise, sorry). Hope you enjoyed and were honored by the send-off. Mom is doing good. We miss you and love you always.

It's Father's Day and I miss you! I miss talking to you and joking with you. I know you're with the best Father there could be, but I miss my Dad! I had already bought a card for you last year. It says "From your daughter, Dad, because it's Father's Day... ... the best time ever to say, "I love you!"" So, I love you, Dad. Happy Father's Day.
