In Memory Of Eldon Albert Glines

Eldon A. Glines, 83, of Odessa, passed away, Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born April 27, 1923 in Ravenwood, Missouri to his parents, Albert & Maude Blanchard Glines. Mr Glines was raised and attended school in New Market, Iowa.
Mr. Glines was married to Betty Barragar, The couple chose Clarinda, Iowa to settle and raise their family. Mr Glines own and operated a sanitation business throught out the 50's; during 60's Mr. Glines worked for the City of Clarinda's street department. To this marriage 4 children were bornLater he was united in marriage to  Bonnie L. Geary on July 3, 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska. They lived in Clarinda until the 1970 when they moved to Odessa, Texas where he was a maintenance supervisor for the City of Odessa. He retired from the City of Odessa in 1987 and was a member of Antioch Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Glines of Odessa, two sons, Gary and Sharon Glines of Shenandoah, Iowa, Terry and Tina Glines of Odessa,Texas, two daughters. Dianna and Chris Davison of Braddyville, Iowa, Joyce and Laverne Akers of Mountain View, Arkansas. 15 grandchildren,  35 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Ronald Glines of Denver, Colorado, and daughter-in-law Joanna Glines of Shenandoah.
Mr. Glines burial was June 15, 2006 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Odessa, Tex
