Eric Michael Waack 42, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, June 05, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center. No formal visitation or service will be held. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Eric's arrangements and his family.Eric M. Waack, the son of Jerry and Kathryn Waack was married to  Shavonna D. Elvik September 19, 1998 and enjoyed 10 years of marriage together from September 1998- Septemeber 2008 and continued to remain close friends to raise their son Tyler and Eric's son Jeremiah and Shavonna's daughter Elizabeth together.  Eric's life revolved around all of his children and was a loving father to them.  He attended all the children's school functions and sporting events with enthusiasm and was always ready with the camera for school dances and field trips. In addition to his children and family Eric also loved music, riding his Harley, watching movies, and enjoyed tending to his garden he carefully planted each year.Eric will be deeply missed and is survived by his three children Jeremiah Patton -Waack, Tyler Johnathan Waack and Elizabeth Kathryn Myers-Waack;  father Jerold "Jerry" Waack and mother Kathryn (Hill) Waack of Muscatine;  two brothers, William "Bill"  Waack of Cedar Rapids, Donald Waack of Muscatine and one sister Marsha (Waack) Johnson of Muscatine; many aunts,  uncles, and  cousinsA private memorial service for family and close friends will be held June 10th at 10:00 a.m. in the home of Eric's Brother, Donald Waack, followed by a private family graveside service at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.A memorial fund is currently being established, please contact a family member for details.
