| Frank G. Buchheit Jr., of Dunwoody, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Mr. Buchheit, Vice President and Chief of Staff Governance, Risk and Compliance for SAP, is survived by his wife Midge Buchheit; sons, Mark Buchheit and his wife Sue of Woodstock, GA, and Matthew Buchheit and his wife Katherine of Huntsville, AL; granddaughters, Jordan, Courtney, Emily, Amanda, Ashley, and Megan; his mother Charlotte of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters, Sara Dixon and Estelle Gearhart. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 6, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a service to celebrate his life immediately following at Chestnut Ridge Christian Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to Chestnut Ridge Christian Church, 2663 Johnson ferry Road, Marietta, GA 30062. |

I recently found our that Frank had passed away. I had known and worked with your father during my days at SAP. I had left in October 2008. What I do remember about him was that he was very smart and a subject matter expert in Procurement within SAP. He was well respected. Frank was always very nice to me as I relied on him for his expertise.

I was saddened to get your message today about your dad. Frank and I were colleagues at MSA years ago, in the marketing area. What I remember most of your dad was that he was a hard worker and always had a smile on his face, exactly the way you have him in this picture. It was an honor and a pleasure to know your dad.

Its been many years since I worked with Frank or last saw him, but I wont ever forget his measured, professional and supportive treatment of me when I was a young 20 something newcomer to the enterprise software business back in the early 90s. My deepest sympathy and prayers to Frank's family.
