Lisa, As I read your latest entries, I was stuck by how much you sound like me. My husband, Don, was my 'everything' and having to go on without him seems impossible, but I must. It seems that you feel the same way about your Fred. We each must find the way to do the impossible. What a wonderful tribute. I was heppy to learn about this gentleman and what a terrific life and family he had. Death is extraordinarly difficult, but if we remember, he is never truely gone.

Lisa I feel as I know you as a personal friend even though we have never met. I certainly enjoy all your writings quotes and answers for people on the listserv. You are a remarkable person very talented and have a wonderful understanding of life. Many times I think about things you said. Your web site is wonderful. I lost my husband Ray May 19th 2010 of pancreatic cancer. I loved him so much and life will never be the same. He was my soul mate and part of me died when he did. I am thankful for the 36 years we had together and the memories, our two children and one granddaughter. I will always wish he was here with me in person, but he will live in my heart until we meet again.

Dear Lisa: Though this may seem strange to a few, I feel as though I would like to express my condolences. I wish you and Fred had all your wishes but it seems to me l you had many wonderful times and shared a remarkable life with each other. Living life is a gift you both enjoyed and enjoyed it together. God bless you and Fred. I feel as though he is still there with you and in you.

Lisa - Though I never knew Fred, I can see the deep love you shared. It comes through in your book project that you have dedicated to his memory and to other families who have traveled a similar journey. I know the final book will be exactly what people need when they need it most. I wish you many copies printed, sold, downloaded and so on! This is a wonderful accomplishment and your friends share in the celebration of the book you have written and the person who inspired it.
