Jason was taken from us at the age of 13 when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle. Jason was not only a loving, compassionate and warm young man, he was also quite an accomplished musician.
At the age of 4 he was diagnosed with Leukemia and went through the next 3 years with chemotherapy. It worked and he was fine. The disease never came back.
At the age of 9 he began playing the piano and that is when we found out what a gift he had with music. He played the piano, violin, drums and guitar. Every instrument he tried he learned quickly and masterfully. He would play most songs by ear, although he did learn to read music. He was a truly gifted performer. He even produced a CD that he made about 3 weeks before his death.
