This old world is not my home
Though I’ve been known to live that way
Holding on to treasures
That will someday fade

I planned my plans and dreamed my dreams
And laid down deeper roots
But lost along the way
This simple truth…

CHORUS:
I’m just passing through
Another traveler on the road
And I hear Your gentle voice
As it beckons me home.
Should I want to settle here
Like I know I’m bound to do,
Keep reminding me, Lord
That I’m just passing through

Lord, this road, it seems so long
I grow more tired by the day.
Straining for the prize
I sometimes lose my way

I need you here to light my steps
Can’t make it all alone
The truth is I am really
Missing home

Jason touched lives while he was with us, and he continues to do so through the legacy of his songs and writings. He set an example for the rest of us.

I was just sitting at my computer printing up Jason's "Hummingbird" devotional to use at a new nursing home where we volunteer and lead worship services. I just found out he has gone on to his heavenly home. We will continue to use his wonderful devotionals to minister to those we serve. Jason is in heaven, but continues to touch lives here on earth!

I wrote for Crosshome and kept in touch with Jason, over the years, and just realized that I hadn't heard from him in a while. I actually sent an email and it returned. I got a little concerned and googled him and found out about his passing. Today I am sad, Jason inspired me and we had spoken at one time of what we would need to do to bring him to Kansas to speak. I grieve, but I also joy, Jason is home. I look forward to seeing him and talking. He inspired many, including me.

I just met you today--half a year after you had passed on! That's like your being a guardian angel when I especially need one in the care of a very special loved one! You have confirmed what I've already known and decided--plus have further educated me! God Bless You!

May God Bless You. You were a joyful, talented individual. A true blessing to all of those around you. May the angels and the Lord watch over you.

I was extremely saddened to learn of Jasons passing! I had deactivated fb and just thought he was not spending as much time on Twitter! When I reactivated fb yesterday; I learned of his plight! I only knew Jason for a short time through Twitter and then Facebook. But he was an inspiration to me; and, I'm sure many others! He was kind, considerate and intelligent! I will miss him. Godspeed my friend! Hold a place for me in Heaven Jason! Love @ellies58
