In memory of our beloved John Johnson who was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on May 7th, 1954 and passed away on October 24th 2014 at 60 years of age.John was a kind spirited man, who always thought outside the box. He was trained as an electrician in Little Rock, Arkansas. Here he was born and raised and this was also where he chose to raise his children, Kevin and Brian, with his wife, Mable. John made quite a name for himself in the community, but those closest to him knew that it was not enough for him to be satisfied. After the birth of his first grandson in 2002, John felt the time was right for him to follow his dream. He headed to Johannasberg, South Africa where he was able to find someone to help him make his vision a reality. In 2004, he moved from South Africa to a city on the outskirts of Zibabwe, Bulawayo. Here he was able to use his skills as an electrician to give light to hundreds of people.While he only made it back to the United States once after his move to Africa, he kept in close contact with his wife, sons and all five of his grandchildren. The Johnson name will live on with several of his family members planning on making a trip to see what great work their patriarch, John Anthony Johnson started.
