John Franklin Horne, born December 28, 1944, in Battles Wharf, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2015, in Plano, Texas. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Ruth (ne Renich), his sons Mark (Jennifer Burkett) and James (Patricia Brunone), eight grandchildren, Calvin, Nevin, Abigail, Evangeline, Jonathan, Nicolas, Charis, and Josiah. He is preceeded in death by his parents, John and Lucile (Hall) Horne.A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 10:30 am, at Town North Presbyterian Church, 1776 N. Plano Rd., Richardson, TX, 75081. A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the service.
