Survived By: Karen is survived by her mother Jacki Abbott of Michigan, a brother John Abbott of Michigan, a sister Trisha Abbott of Michigan, and was proceeded in death by her father Robert Abbott and a sister Nevaeh Abbott.

Karen Lynn Abbott, 32 of Lansing, Michigan, passed away February 9, 2009 in her home, after an accidental overdose. Karen was a nurse and a profession dancer. She had recently won a title for best dancer of the State. She had won many awards for her dancing both single and with a partner. She loved dancing, it was a passion of hers.

She had a fiance, Musah Baro, who lived in Africa. She had a daughter, Treasure Viray, that lived at home with her. Karen's latest passions were her daughter and making plans to visit Ghana where her fiance lives.

Karen was a burst of sunshine in everyones lives and was kind and caring to her friends.

She leaves behind a family that will always miss her.
