"Phone Line to Heaven"

signed byDebbie Troutman
Written by Debbie Troutman There's a phone line going up to Heaven. Can you hear it ring? It's me! I'm calling to wish you a Happy Birthday, the best one ever. Your first birthday in Paradise, if only I could see! I know your party will be a great celebration, With Jesus, the angels, and our heavenly family. I wish I could be there, too, what elation! Such fun and laughter would end too rapidly. I'll always remember all your birthdays we shared, Your face lit up as cake was served and gifts placed in your lap. You loved birthday parties, nothing ever compared, To being with your family to watch you unwrap. There's a phone line going up to Heaven. Please answer it, it's me! Calling to say I miss and love you on your birthday more than ever. You're my sister God proudly gave to us, a gift I long to see!

Birthday In Heaven

signed byDebbie Troutman
It's your birthday up in heaven, And I'm wondering what you'll do. Will there be a celebration And a cake to honor you? Are the kitchen angels busy Breaking eggs and sifting flour? Is the angel choir practicing As it gets close to the hour? Is there ice cream made from snowflakes And some candy made from clouds? Will it be just you and Jesus, Or all the happy crowds? I won't be there to hug you Or to count and pull your ears, And I'm sure I'll feel lonely As I shed some birthday tears. But I know your heavenly birthday Will be your best one ever! Just remember, I still love you-- On your birthday, and forever! ~Connie Faust

Miss Speck...she made me feel loved and welcome as a new student to Washington Elementary and Prescott in 1970. I always remembered her name and smiling face.

It was a privilege to teach at Washington Elementary School with Kathy for many years. She was a devout teacher. I've never seen such a collection of materials as she had! She touched the lives of many children - the highest calling.
