Kurtis, the 16 month old son of CDF Fire Captain Kevin Krauss and Cristine Krauss of Temecula, CA, died on Sunday November 6, 2005 as the result of an accident at home. Kurtis is survived by his parents, his brothers Kevin Jr. and Karson, and sister Courtney.

When God calls little children to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of his love.
For no heartache compares with the death of a small child,
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold,
So he picks a rosebud, before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so he takes but few,
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult, still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "goodbye".
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind.
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are just too hard to find.

Kurtis you are such a gorgeous boy. You look so healthy and very loved. You were obviously a very special boy. To you mummy and daddy I send you my love,I lost my nephew who was 17months old on the 27th of Jan 2009. I had him in my care for 12 months. He also died from an accident at his mummys.
