In Memory Of Linda MacLaren

This is a celebration of Linda's life & continued impact on all the people she touched. From her simple love of music & movies, which led her to attend & enjoy many concerts & films during her life to her joyous love of Christmas & giving. The two cherished sons she raised to be fine, young men. Her husband she helped & supported in anyway she could.

The dedication of her life to the lord, following his example of love, caring & sharing for her fellow man. Always thoughtful of others she made many charitable donations & supported multiple impoverished children throughout the world.

This love of Christ, imbued her with security in her salvation & no fear of death. She lived everyday to the fullest enjoying God's simple pleasures such as camping in the woods, visiting the ocean, or spending time with family & friends.

An authentic, genuine woman, she could always be counted on to lend a helping hand, whether you were her son, brother, sister in law, nephew, niece, friend, coworker or stranger. Her zest for life, great sense of humor & open, kind heart, truly made her a one of a kind woman, quick to make you feel welcome.

So don't leave her today with sadness in your heart. Instead let the same love Linda felt everyday guide you. Show kindness to people. Maintain a loving spirit, Lend a helping hand to others. Enjoy the beauty of the world & most importantly, love. Love those around you from the depths of your soul, just as Linda did.

Hey Linda Jean, I couldn't let the day go by without wishing you a Happy Birthday and wishing you were here! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you in some way, whether it is a song on the radio, a movie or just time walking by myself I reflect on you. I saw STING on Saturday and thought of all the times we saw him together. I was thinking of the "chair dancing women" we always sat in back of and wishing you were there next to me. I know you were there with me that night because so man... » read more

Hey Sister, Just stopping by to say,"Hi"! So much as happened in the year. We are settled in Reno, got another dog, and are grandparents! Gia got married and had a baby boy, Aiden. The days just seem to fly by and there isn't one I don't think about you in some way. You inspire me to be a better person and to take time to listen to others. I miss you so much my friend, I just hope I see you again one day and we can have ourselves a long laugh and a big hug. Always, Michele
