For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. – The Apostle Paul, Romans 6:23
She Is Gone
You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
Linda Kay Talaga 58 went home to be with her Savior after battling a long illness. She was the first child born to Kenneth and Elinor Rasmusen. On March 3, 1969 she married John Baxter in Goose Bay Labrador Canada. To this union two children were born, John Alan and Jennifer Elinor.
Linda loved her family with a golden heart. She loved animals, she was never without a little dog by her side. Linda enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, reading, and loved camping. Linda had a love for music and played the piano.
On June 5,1993 Linda married the love of her life Michael Talaga. They lived the majority of their life together in Plantation Fl. Linda was preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents. There are no words to describe the pain we feel without her. She may be gone, but never forgotten we will celebrate when we meet again, "Together Forever in Heaven"

My Loving Sister...I missed you when our Aunt Audrey stayed with my kids. She was "all Love" she loved to cook and sew and needle point...Things I remember that you loved to do as well. I miss you when I hear about Mom and Dad's little lap dog...I miss you when we sing certain praise songs...like today at our palm Sunday service Cantata. I miss you all the time...I want you to know that you are loved and missed daily. I am sure you had a great Sunday in Paradise....Love, Your Brother Steven

On this day we celebrate the birth of Our Savior, I must send a short message.
This is our second Christmas without you Dear Sister. As with all our Christmas's there is still lots of love. There is a special place in my heart for you. Tears glisten on my cheeks while I sit here next to our peaceful Christmas tree and type my words of love. I am reflecting my thoughts back to the most fun Christmas's of our lives when we were all together and the excitement and Joy of Christmas morning. As... » read more

My Precious Sister,
I feel like it has been forever since I have written in this journal. I think of you everyday. I actually heard your sweet voice in a dream not too long ago. It was truly your your voice and your giggle and you animated funny face. Life has been so very difficult lately. My children's lives are in such turmoil it makes me so sad. I miss you, I miss my grand babies and Mother and Dad so very much. I had surgery Feb 8 and have not been out of bed since. I have an infecti...

Today should be a happy day. I have much to be thankful for. I also have great sadness. I miss so very much. Mom and Dad live so far away in Florida and they have no family to share this day with. They are eating a large chicken stuffed with dressing. It is difficult to think of them alone. All of my kids are in Utah as well as my grand kids. I miss all of them. Steven is busy in Oklahoma with his large clan. I am in Valentine with Steve and his dad. I am thankful that he is still wit...

Linda was the happiest person I ever met. While I lived in Fl she bacame my best friend, I loved her as my siter ( I did not have relatives). When she moved to Austin and I was in San Antonio I went to see her right away I will never forget all those hours that we spent together. Heaven needed another angel. God Bless you

28 Sep 2010 – Janie & Stanley Rayner sent this sympathy ecard and wrote:
My Prayers and Sympathy go out to all Linda's family and friends. She was so full of life and always looking for fun things to do! When I needed a laugh, I'd go visit my friend Linda. Her laugh and smile was so contagious, a fun time was had by all. She always talked so lovingly of her children, and grand children, that I feel I know you. She missed them so much, and always looked forward to their visits. You will be missed my dear friend! ♥♥♥
Love you,
Janie
