She Is Gone

by David Harkins 1981
She is Gone

You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she’s gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back
or you can do what she’d want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Linda was the happiest person I ever met. While I lived in Fl she bacame my best friend, I loved her as my siter ( I did not have relatives). When she moved to Austin and I was in San Antonio I went to see her right away I will never forget all those hours that we spent together. Heaven needed another angel. God Bless you Patty Ramirez

From Janie & Stanley Rayner
28 Sep 2010 – Janie & Stanley Rayner sent this sympathy ecard and wrote:
My Prayers and Sympathy go out to all Linda's family and friends. She was so full of life and always looking for fun things to do! When I needed a laugh, I'd go visit my friend Linda. Her laugh and smile was so contagious, a fun time was had by all. She always talked so lovingly of her children, and grand children, that I feel I know you. She missed them so much, and always looked forward to their visits. You will be missed my dear friend! ♥♥♥ Love you, Janie
