This memorial website was created in the memory of our Beloved Brother Michael L Williams who was born in Chicago, IL on 14th March 1950 and passed away on 20th June 2012, 62 years of age. Michael was a great person a loving brother and father to his 2 sons Michael and Marcus Williams.

Aside from hard work Michael had a passion for life in the fast lane. His outgoing spirit and joy for life was remarkable. Michael was self employed and ran a lucrative business for years with his deceased Father David Williams who started the company “Williams & Son's Asphalt & Paving Co." years ago.

Michael was the 2nd sibling of 5 children born of parents Mr. & Mrs. David & Ulara Williams, His extremely exceptional way with numbers was a plus in a business where size location cost price and estimates had to be given in a flash with competitive clients like Mac Donald’s -Jewels- Kmart’s -Burger King etc and other large company lots and businesses in need of their services just to name a few.

Although Mike following in his father’s footsteps and family business along with his two brother David and Roger whom of which have also suffered tremendously due to the cause of his death . We celebrate a home going and a time of rejoicing and relief of a soul that belongs to God that called his son home to be with him.

The good news is that Michael’s cousin Pastor: Kenneth Bolls on many occasions had ministered to him and lead Him to the Lord, Praise God! Accepting Christ as his personal savior this alone is a cause to celebrate. Isn’t it a Blessing to know that life goes on and to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord !...those of us that have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior know that this is a time to rejoice.

Both his sons La Don & Marcus Williams went on to college furthering their education. Michael sister Ulara named after her mom nicked named ( Penny) the only girl born to their parents was always there for her brothers especially Michael and the family for the most part.

Traveling to and from Los Angeles California to Chicago in the last few years has surely taken a toll on her and her family with the death of her father and now her brother but, being the loving sister daughter, Mother ,Aunt , friend and woman of God that she is her heart is and always was in the right place.

Let’s keep in mind the promises we make at this time of a (friend in need is a friend in deed )should be followed up with commitment.
Michael, May You rest in Love and Peace, you’ve ran the race and FINISHED in Style. We’ll Miss U
