He is survived by his sons Michael Jr, Jamichael and Mikel Laney and his step-daughter Ashley Ramey; Mother Ernestine Laney, Father Stover Thompson, Brothers Antoine Laney, Eugene Laney and Casey Truesdale; sisters Calandra Laney, Yolanda Holmes and Vernita Sadler; Grandmother Inez Laney; uncle Jack Kizer; Aunts Gloria Alexander, JoAnn Laney, Linda Laney and Eloise Nash and a Host of cousins, nieces, and nephews, and other Relatives and Friends.
