In Memory Of Nicholas (Boo) Terry Principato
Nicholas Terry Principato was an amazing little boy.  He was so joyful his entire life.  Just after his 4th birthday he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  He went to Children's Hospital in Philadelphia for treatment.  He did pretty well but had a very bad infection in December.  He had to have his eye removed related to an  on Christmas Eve, 2004.  He continued his chemotherapy so bravely it amazed everyone. He would get shots, intravenous medications and take pills (yes I have never a seen a 4-year-old take pills) and still be a ball of fire. Not soon after his 5th birthday he relapsed.  We were only a month into maintenance therapy (which is a feeling of almost being done with treatment) when we got the results of routine bloodwork.  We were set up for a bone marrow transplant at Sloan-Kettering in NYC when we learned he had a tumor with cancer in his cheek an the leukemia had returned in his bone marrow.  We were sent home, only with the hope of prayer.  Nicholas went home to be with our Lord on March 26, 2009.  We miss him so terribly but know we will be with him again in heaven.
