If you knew Paul, he was always a "prince." He was born in 1941 in College Point NYC and attended Aviation High School in Queens.  He served in the Navy in the 1960's and was very proud of that.  He loved his family and was always there for them.  He later worked as a NYC policeman and then as a liscened plumber where he was known as "on order Borter."  Paul always took care of those around him without complaining. A real man.   A fixture on Fire Island, Paul hilariously was the harbor master who was always on break.  He generously entertained countless guests there.  He was fascinated and knew a lot about history and life.  He was quite a recounteur.  He enjoyed all of life's finest pleasures to the max.  And with no apologies.  Paul, we all love you and wish you were still here.  Love always, Jack.  P.S.  May Jerry McPhadden  be next to you having a gin and tonic!!
