I have been trying to locate the Driscoll clan because we had lost touch, in doing so, found this. I am so sorry and so distraught that I did not know. I loved this family dearly and they took care of me in my younger years - he was a great dad and friend. I cherish the time I shared with him.

Even though I have been estranged from Bill's extended family for a few years, I will miss him and his happy face. We used to throw down on the dance floor at family gatherings and he was always a joy to be around.

Even though it's been one year since we lost Bill Driscoll, his memory lives on. I first met Bill Driscoll back when he was a newly-wed in 1959 and we remained friends all the years after . . . no matter where I moved upon my return he always greeted me as if he had only seen me yesterday . . . paying his usual compliments . . . and making me feel I was still the same girl he knew in '69. He is missed, but fortunately he has four wonderful sons that each have piece of his delightful personality.

We all will miss Bill, he was my friend from Junior High School, and thru all of these years. I am so glad I was able to see him at the NDHS breakfast last summer. My condolences to a wonderful family.

I will always remember Big Bill at the Texas Tea House on Saturday nights! After a few Buds, he and the boys would get on stage and sing. Also, the Texas State Fair seeing him ride the golf cart around. Bill lived a good life with more friends than most people will ever have. I believe God needed an unofficial Mayor of Heaven! Bill, we love you dearly. Save us a seat!!

I was lucky to know Big Bill Driscoll. He was one of a kind. He would always have something good to say that would always turn your day into a better day! He was a sincere friend to all police officers nationwide but he had a special place for those officers at Northwest, which was due to Doughboy! He is probably enjoying all the police stories with his friends who went before him. Big Bill, I will miss you! He would always tell me that he was listening to me on the radio scanner! We shou...

My deepest sympathy to Bill's loved ones. Bill had many friends because he WAS a friend to so many. I knew Bill at North Dallas High School and later through the North Dallas Alumni Association. If any of us needed to try and locate someone or find out what was going on, Bill would do his best to help us. He was a wonderful, kind-hearted man. The Chairman of the Board (ROMEO) has left the building. He will be missed.
