Rev. William Leu, Sr.
Survived By: Wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

On Jan. 21, 2009, William G. Leu Sr. passed. He was 74 years old and had just celebrated 54 years of marriage. They say “the good is oft interred with the bones” but I say the good outlives us all. He was a man of God since 17 yrs old, joined the U.S. Navy and served his country. He was a missionary, a pastor, a friend, a contractor, an amateur radio operator, a father, a father figure, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather to many, grateful people. He traveled the world, taking the Word of God to many poor countries, often requiring armed escort. He was a deeply, religious man who inspired everyone around him to live better and respect others. He did his best to take care of his family, always giving his all for those in need. He preached until his last days from his bed until he could no longer form the words. He showed courage in his last days and did his best to create laughter and light-heartedness in a time of sorrow.

"Though our candle’s flame has died away, the dying memory dares still to stay" -dan:leu-
