Why Have I Been Contacted?
There may be a number of reasons that you have been contacted. If you’ve been
contacted via email by a recently departed loved one, this is likely because
they set up a Heaven’s Mail-It’s Eternal® account with us and wrote messages
to you before their passing, for us to deliver at selected times after their
passing. They have assured us that their intentions were noble: to share hope,
faith, or simply jokes or recipes in order to keep in touch with you until
you meet again in Heaven. However, if you wish not to receive these messages,
you can ask us to modify the service order such that it no longer sends you
cards or emails. This is not what your loved one intended, but we nonetheless
will respect your choice.
If you’ve simply received an email about our Heaven’s Mail or Online Memorial
services, then you are either a contact of one of the founders, or are part of
an opt-in mailing list of persons who fall into an age or interest group of
internet users likely to benefit from our services in the near future. Another
reason may be that a friend or loved one referred you to us. Still another may be that
you have been contacted in error.
If the latter is the case, we sincerely apologize and will of course, remove
you from our contact list upon request if you write an email to support
with REMOVE in the subject line.
